Uno's Jazz Piano Lesson (1)

Introduction:
In the first lesson of the series, Uno will manage to convey basic concepts of jazz piano trio, head changing, left hand comping, and improvisation in simple languages.

1. Head
Taking Autumn Leaves for example, Uno will explain how to change the head from lead sheet in detail.
2. Left Hand Comping
Uno will intend to give concepts of syncopation, 2 Note Voicing, 3 Note Voicing, 4 Note Voicing and Voicing Leading.
3. Solo Improvisation
Uno will cover three solo improvisations including Chord Tone Solo, Passing Note with Chord Tone, and Chord Scale respectively.
4. Connection of Head and Improvisation

Uno
- Studied jazz piano with 藤澤清十郎 in college in Japan.
- Majored in jazz piano performance in Berklee College of Music in 1995. Greatly influenced by Hal Crook.
- Released her first debut jazz piano album and got nominated by Golden Melody Award in 2005.
