1. Tuning
Toshi will explain how the material of drum shell and size affect the sound of drum, and the principles and methods of tuning.
2. Advanced Bass Drum Technique
In this session, Toshi will tell you the techniques of double-hits in detail description including Slide technique, Down Up technique, and Up Down Technique when you play drums.
You will learn to apply all the fundamental techniques in “Drum Set Study (1)” to playing the drum set through different methods. Toshi will also introduce you advanced rudiments including Flam Diddle, Pata Flafla, Single Ratamacue, Triple Ratamacue, Swiss Army Triplet and Flam Tap.
3. Rudiments Application for Drum Set
In this session, Toshi will tell you the techniques of double-hits in detail description including Slide technique, Down Up technique, and Up Down Technique when you play drums.

4. Linear Concepts
Contrast to gradational drumming, linear drumming is a rather important concept. Toshi will explain the principles of linear drumming, teach you how to practice linear drumming and do linear drumming demonstration in this session.
5. Funk Grooves
With a classic collection of 10 different funk grooves, you will learn how to use ghost notes, opened and closed hi-hat, and how James Brown and Tower of Power played.
